One of our favourite gut health gurus, Carla Oates of The Beauty Chef, says science is proving there is a strong connection between our skin and gut health. Prebiotics and probiotics can support the gut by ensuring beneficial flora are present in the digestive tract and gut, that bad bacteria are not ruling the show and to promote optimum gut and digestive function which will ultimately lead to improved overall wellbeing. What are Prebiotics?

Prebiotics are foods which support good bacteria in the digestive tract. They are foods containing inulin (an insoluble fibre) which helps to nourish and clear out the digestive tract of any toxins. They act as fuel for probiotics, which is why it’s so important to be taking both a pre-and probiotic.
