GET THE LOOK: EVERYDAY FLAWLESS MAKEUP
One of my favourite expressions to go by is less is more, especially when it comes to makeup. You don't want to be hiding behind your makeup, it's purpose is to enhance what you've already got. I created the below look on model Charlotte Morton using all natural products from Beautiful Because. Here's how....
Step 1. THE BASE
Starting with a clean, fresh base is super important to create flawless dewy skin! I cleansed Charlotte’s skin with rosewater before applying MUKTI’S Balancing moisturiser all over the face for beautiful hydrated skin. I then applied a light INIKA Truly Organic Liquid Foundation in Beige to cover any uneven skin tone or impurities.
I then applied INIKA Highlighter to the cheekbones, brow bones and Cupid's bow for that extra dewy, radiant glow.
HOT TIP: Always allow your moisturiser to settle into the skin for 5-10 minutes before applying foundation; if you don’t wait, the foundation can slide off without sinking in evenly.
Step 2: BLUSH & CONTOUR
To create defined cheekbones I applied Ere Perez Bronzer in “My Blush” on the natural contour line of Charlottes face (underneath the cheek bones and around the jawline). I then applied a very light dusting of Ere Perez Blush in “Bondi” on the top of cheek bones to give a healthy flush of colour.
HOT TIP: Always start with less product and build if need be... it's much easier to create perfect contours and blush by slowly adding colour rather than going too dark and potentially streaky.
Step 3: THE EYES
I used a mixture of Ere Perez Chamomile Eye Duo’s “Very Important” and “Without Clothes”.. I covered the entire lid with dark brown shadow and blended up towards the brows with a lighter brown shade to soften the edges. I then applied Inika Black Eyeliner pencil along the lash line, both top and bottom.
HOT TIP: blend/smudge eyeliner with a brush to create a smokey natural look.
Step 4: THE LIPS
Finish the look by applying a lick of Bite Beauty Lip Gloss in Cocoa for a natural tint and shine. Get the look Charlotte's nails with Zoya 5-Free Non-Toxic Nail Polish in Aubrey.
